Macallan 18 years Vol. 43% This legendary Single Malt is Triple Cask Matured for a minimum of 18 years in a unique, complex combination of Exceptional Oak casks; Spanish oak casks seasoned with sherry and American oak casks seasoned with bourbon. This Triple cask Matured combination delivers an extraordinarily smooth, delicate yet complex Single Malt.
Tasting notes: Colour: light Amber Nose: Heady, exotic and floral, with a hint of jasmine, tropical fruit and peat. Palate: Soft and rich, with a hint of citrus, spice and wood smoke. Finish: Lingering, with a hint of orange zest. (info from Macallan website)
