Hibiki 17 years
Colour: Dark gold
Nose: A ripe gentle fragrance apricot cooked with tones of roasted wood, citrus, cacoa, ripe banana and hazelnut which is cracked.
Taste: A very clean and clear taste where prevents sweet toffee in very the taste with sultana and cherries
Hakushu 12 years
Nose: Light and grassy and slightly stony to start. In time there’s sweet persimmon and nut.
Taste: Pure and very clean. Sweet lime, green fruits then a hint of smoke and a buttery meadow sweet/chamomile note. Light to the point of fragility.
Nikka Miyagiko 12 years
Colour: Dark amber.
Nose: Full and tight, with a little roasted touch (coffee and pecan nut), the sign of skillful ageing in good quality oak (sherry). Opens with a floral hint and develops further along oriental spices.
Taste: The taste is in principle the same as the fragrance which you smell, full and strongly. With a long warm aftertaste. This strong whisky, but preserves at the same time a
real finesse.
Nikka Yoichi 10 years
Colour: Amber
Nose: A firm fragrance with tones of burned wood, pepper, apple and apricot, with on the context barley and minty freshness.
Taste: Round taste and rich with vanilla. For of the rest of tones of iris and lavender. The perfectly incorporated woody character exceeds the fruitness of the apricots and raisins. With a long and complex aftertaste.
Yamazaki 12 years
Colour: Dark gold
Nose: A gentle fragrance of dried fruit and honey
Taste: It has a delicate, mellow taste with a lingering, woody, dry finish.
