Owner Michiel Wigman reports: Theft of 183 bottles form my personal collection!

The well-known whisky connoisseur and collector of the Springbankcollection Michiel Wigman reported last October the 10th the robbery of 183 very rare bottles of wiskey from his collection. Wigman summons everybody to keep a sharp look-out. Possibly the thief turns up when these bottles are put on the market. 

The bottles were stolen from Wigmans hired storage. Not only was the theft a financial disaster, it caused a lot of bother because the police and insurance company had to be notified. But nothing exceeded the emotional strain. "I was emotionally exhausted these last days, now I am recovering".

Some bottles are more easely replaced than others. The loss of four Springbank Local Barly bottles is a disaster. "Two of them I could only obtain in Taiwan; I had been searching for them for years".
